
Griogair Lawrie is an exceptionally talented traditional Gaelic singer, piper & composer, who belongs to a West Highland piping tradition that has been in his family for generations. He is heavily influenced by Argyllshire’s incredibly rich Gaelic tradition, but also has a huge interest in the bardic tradition of South Uist. Receiving rave reviews for his latest album Dail-riata, Griogair has been deemed a rising star in new Gaelic music.

What was the first festival you ever played at?
Highlands and Islands Festival in Oban.
