Talented songwriter, Tim Gearan performs American music influenced by bands such as the Beatles, Muddy Waters and Bob Dylan. During his twenties he spent time developing a style of his own and has been delighting audiences in New Orleans, Los Angeles and Boston ever since.

The Interview...

What was the first festival you ever played at?

Memphis in May. It was a blues festival at the Mississippi River.

What do you like about playing in Glasgow?

I am performing for the first time in Glasgow tonight at the Tallship for the Boston Tea party.

Who do you collaborate with?

I write songs with Peter Mulvey.

What are your plans for 2008?

Touring stateside and coming to Scotland.
